PhotoBioModulation Therapy (PBMT)

Photobiomodulation (PBM), also known as low-level laser therapy (LLLT), is a form of medical treatment that uses low-level lasers or light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to stimulate cellular function. The light energy is absorbed by mitochondria, the powerhouses of cells, which triggers various physiological responses.

PBM has been studied for its potential therapeutic effects in various medical fields, including pain management, tissue repair, wound healing, inflammation reduction, and even neurological disorders. It’s considered non-invasive and generally safe when administered properly, although specific protocols and dosages may vary depending on the condition being treated.
